SUPERANNUATION FOR OUR DISABLED KIDS

SMALL DEPOSITS MEAN MOST INTEREST GOES IN FEES PAID

Does anyone else have an issue with this? I do: about $500 in the fund, maybe $50 p.a. interest and $25 p.a. in fees. Going nowhere fast and I cannot transfer the balance into my family super where I can do a MUCH better deal in management fees.

Should the Auxiliary see if it can find someone else who can take on this function and make a bit more money (charge smaller fees) for our kids?

Comments?

  1. Just got a statement to 30 Sep 09 (timely?); $650 balance, $25 income, $25 fees... Hmmm... won't give my son much "super" when he "retires" will it?
