Sunnyfield are preparing for the introduction of Individualised Self-directed funding and are supporting members in their goal to achieve a more fulfilling and person centred service for their relative.
To assist in this process a new position has been created "Voluntary Membership Officer".
Di Cook has agreed to fill this position 2 days a week and to quote part of her letter to members (attached) "If I can help you with any matter relating to Sunnyfield services or to find out answers to questions which affect your son or daughter please contact me on 02 8064 7323. Sunnyfield wants to work more closely with members so that their services are shaped to get the best result for their clients. An example might be asking for more flexibility as to who provides respite to clients and the actual activities during respite, as requested by a member at the last Auxiliary Meeting".
